Re-Homing
Hello friend! My Name is Ben, short for Benito. I am 4 months old and people say I look like a golden retriever, I think that is a compliment. Well, up till a week ago I lived happy in the valley and fields of St Pauls Bay/ Xemxija with my mummy and my other 4 brothers and sisters. Life was good, I had plenty of food which was left for us by the people who lived in the area, I was free to run around and play in the valley with my family. But one fine day on Monday 17th June I had an accident, this caused an injury in my front left paw leaving me unable to walk. I couldn't stop crying and this made one of the neighbours come next to me just to see what had happened. I tried to run away but I was too weak. Finally this girl took me into her house where she and her partner could take better care of me. They took me to the vet, medicated me, fed me, played with me and even cleaned me well. I also spent the weekend at another house with another lady who had a lot of animals, and to be honest I liked it better there as there were other animals I could play with. But now I find myself again with the girl and boy who initially found me. The situation is this. These kind people cannot keep me and they would love to find a family who can give me the love and care I need. I am not an ordinary pet, I am disabled and I need a lot of attention, ideally I need a friend to play with because I do not like to be alone. People say I am adorable.. Please help me as I do not know what will happen to me if I do not find a good loving family. I've heard the vet talk about "putting him down"… don't know what that means but from the looks on their faces, it did not seem to be a nice thing. I also heard them talking about sending me to Germany where I will be taken care of better but this costs a lot of money.. I am a good puppy all I need is the proper attention and care, please help me.
